Detailed Description

Millesime Champagne is a type of Champagne produced in the second year of a cuvée, after the first wine is released. The ‘Millesime’ of the name is taken from the Latin ‘mille’, meaning ‘thousand’. Millesime is made by adding a ‘secondary fermentation’ in the bottle, giving the wine a lighter, more delicate taste.
